A blue sapphire at the centre, surrounded by diamonds that do not form a perfect ring — they drift outward, like light breaking through water. The arrangement draws from the British jewellery tradition of naturalistic cluster, where stones are placed for movement rather than geometry.

The blue sapphire carries a particular resonance in British jewellery culture — from royal commissions to private heirlooms, it is the colour most associated with considered, lasting jewellery. Here it is cultivated: the same mineral composition, formed consciously.
