What It's Made Of.
How It's Graded.
How Long It Lasts.
Cultivated jewels deserve the same scrutiny as mined ones — if not more.
This page sets out, in plain terms, what every DHARIN piece is made of, how the stones are graded and certified, and what stands behind the piece after it arrives.
Lab-Grown, Graded the Same
A lab-grown diamond is a diamond — graded by the same standards as a mined one.
Lab-grown diamonds share the same crystal structure, hardness, and optical properties as mined diamonds. They are assessed using the same 4Cs — Cut, Colour, Clarity, and Carat — by the same independent grading laboratories.
Lab-grown coloured gemstones — sapphire, emerald, and ruby — are chemically and optically identical to their mined counterparts, and are graded for colour, clarity, and cut to the same criteria used across the trade.
Independently Certified
Every diamond is graded by IGI — not by us.
The International Gemological Institute (IGI) is one of the world's largest independent gemological laboratories, grading both natural and lab-grown diamonds to a consistent global standard.
Diamond pieces are accompanied by an IGI report stating the stone's carat weight, cut, colour, and clarity, along with a unique report number that can be verified directly on igi.org.
Coloured gemstone pieces are accompanied by a gemstone identification certificate confirming origin (lab-grown) and species.
Metal & Construction
Every piece states its metal in full — no vague “gold-tone.”
DHARIN works across three metal tiers, each used as-is and never mixed without disclosure:
S925 Sterling Silver — 92.5% pure silver, the base for our silver collection.
18K Gold Vermeil — S925 sterling silver base, plated with [X microns] of 18K gold — [meeting / exceeding] the legal definition of vermeil.
14K Solid Gold — solid gold throughout, not plated. Will not fade, flake, or thin with wear.
Stones are hand-set using prong, bezel, or pavé settings depending on the design — chosen for how each stone catches light, and for long-term security of the setting.
Exact metal composition and plating thickness are listed on each product page.
Warranty & Care
Built to be worn — and stand behind if something's wrong.
Every DHARIN piece is covered by a [X-month/year] warranty against manufacturing defects, including loose stones, broken clasps, and structural faults that arise under normal wear.
The warranty does not cover:
Loss or theft.
Damage from impact, chemicals (chlorine, perfume, cleaning products), or improper storage.
Natural plating wear on vermeil pieces from prolonged daily wear.
To keep each piece at its best:
Put jewelry on last — after perfume, lotion, and hairspray.
Store pieces separately, away from direct light and moisture.
Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth; avoid ultrasonic cleaners on vermeil.
