What It's Made Of.
How It's Graded.
How Long It Lasts.
Cultivated jewels deserve the same scrutiny as mined ones — if not more.
This page sets out, in plain terms, what every DHARIN piece is made of, how report coverage varies by product and variant, and what stands behind the piece after it arrives.
Lab-Grown, Graded the Same
A lab-grown diamond is a diamond — graded by the same standards as a mined one.
Lab-grown diamonds share the same crystal structure, hardness, and optical properties as mined diamonds. They are assessed using the same 4Cs — Cut, Colour, Clarity, and Carat — by the same independent grading laboratories.
Lab-grown coloured gemstones — sapphire, emerald, and ruby — are chemically and optically identical to their mined counterparts, and are graded for colour, clarity, and cut to the same criteria used across the trade.
Reports & Verification
Reports are included only where stated for the selected product and variant.
An IGI grading report identifies and grades the specific diamond described in that report. A report for one diamond or one product does not certify every stone or item in the DHARIN collection.
For Classic Lab-Grown Diamond Stud Earrings, the 1.00ct and 2.00ct pairs include two individual IGI grading reports, one for each diamond; the 0.50ct pair does not. The Classic, Mini Mixed-Cut and Mega Mixed-Cut lab-grown diamond tennis bracelets do not include individual IGI grading reports. For other diamond pieces, read the Certification section for the selected product and variant before ordering.
Coloured gemstone pieces do not automatically include an IGI report or gemstone identification certificate. Any included report must be expressly stated in the selected product specifications. Independent third-party testing may be arranged at the buyer’s cost; contact us before ordering to confirm availability and any testing, shipping or related charges.
Metal & Construction
Every piece states its metal in full — no vague “gold-tone.”
DHARIN works across three metal tiers, each used as-is and never mixed without disclosure:
S925 Sterling Silver — 92.5% pure silver, the base for our silver collection.
18K Gold Vermeil — S925 sterling silver base, plated with 18K gold.
14K Solid Gold — solid gold throughout, not plated. Will not fade, flake, or thin with wear.
Stones are hand-set using prong, bezel, or pavé settings depending on the design — chosen for how each stone catches light, and for long-term security of the setting.
S925 silver: material, finish and care
S925 sterling silver contains 92.5% silver. The base material and any surface finish are separate parts of a piece’s construction. Our current silver pieces are made by the same manufacturing partner.
A supplier’s plating report dated 19 April 2024 records silver, PdCo-labelled intermediate and rhodium layers over an S925 base for a tested sample. The measurements are sample references rather than specifications for every product. Our silver and plating guide explains the results in context.
Is plated sterling silver still real silver?
When the base is S925 sterling silver, the silver alloy remains beneath the surface coating. A finish does not change the identity of the underlying metal.
How should I care for silver jewellery?
Use a soft, lint-free cloth and store pieces separately. Avoid perfume, swimming and household chemicals. Before using silver polish, a dip or ultrasonic cleaning, check that the method suits the finish, gemstones and settings.
Refer to the selected product and variant for its stated metal and finish specifications. Read our S925 silver and plating guide.
Warranty & Care
Built to be worn — and stand behind if something's wrong.
DHARIN offers a 12-month commercial warranty. This warranty is additional to, and does not replace or reduce, any mandatory legal guarantee or consumer right. For assistance with your piece, contact support@mydharin.com with your order number.
To keep each piece at its best:
Put jewelry on last — after perfume, lotion, and hairspray.
Store pieces separately, away from direct light and moisture.
Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth; avoid ultrasonic cleaners on vermeil.
